ABOUT HNtv INSIDERS

Hospitality Net INSIDERS is a platform developed for disseminating privileged industry insights. The platform presents a series of one-on-one, video-recorded dialogues between two industry executives discussing a topic of current interest to hospitality business leaders.

To ensure that this peer-to-peer conversation is not only one that produces some real food for thought, but is also natural and relaxed, we have conceived of INSIDERS as a chat between knowledgeable decision-makers who also know each other already as friends.

So an INSIDERS conversation is not a conventional interview between a journalist asking a list of scripted, pre-submitted questions and a senior manager responding with approved answers. Instead, it is meant to be an open, informal exploration of opinions, ideas, and observations – and reactions to them – that takes place between equals.

The way an insider’s conversation is arranged is also different from a standard journalistic interview. One executive – the Host – selects a peer – the Guest – to join him/her for a conversation on a topic that both parties could probe in some depth.

Hospitality Net will provide all the needed guidance and infrastructure to record and publicize the event. When the conversation is made public by Hospitality Net, it is the Guest’s turn to become the Host of the next INSIDERS conversation, inviting a different executive to join a new one-on-one dialogue. In this way, a chain of fascinating conversations unfolds over time, each exploring issues of common interest and potentially building on the ideas brought up in previous rounds.
